Grad checks

Even Though this year feels like it just started, grad checks are coming up and students who wish to graduate in May must complete and submit their grad checks after meeting up with their counselors. Grad checks are a checklist to help students plan for their future, early in their senior year and to carry through graduation day.  Counselors will meet with students before October first to make sure that the students are on the right path for graduation. They will discuss your plan for the future, and the 3 E’s which are enrollment, employment and enlistment. Whichever one you’re interested in, the counselor will go over it with you. They will also go over how many credits are needed to graduate and offer alternatives if you’re short on credits. There are digital learning classes which are done on campus to fulfill the goal of having all of the credits to graduate. Another requirement for graduation is taking the civics test which students usually take during their Junior year. In addition , students must have their CPR certification to graduate. Good luck to all the seniors out there.
