The intention of the Superintendent and Governing Board to begin school in full on October 12th of this year will be discussed in a special meeting this evening. After considering feedback from families and staff, it was clear there were some concerns about social distancing and safety measures with the entire student population returning to campus. As a result, and on the recommendation of the Pima County Health Department, the Amphitheater Governing Board is now considering a proposal that would have school starting in a hybrid model. The Governing Board will consider the recommendation tonight and potentially reach a decision.
